I have taken many screenshots in the game without any problem. And I used to take Screenshots in the Editor by using the Windows key + PrtScn That now gives a completely black screen but only in TS as it work normally in other applications. Any suggestions please? Peter
Windows Snipping Tool is pretty good and so is Lightshop https://app.prntscr.com/en/index.html Windows game bar is another alternative: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...shot (the camera, app and then select Captures.
I tried that as well and it opens back in Windows instead of staying in the game - might have to change some settings
Yep Weird, I have two monitors and as you can see the editor is showing on my main and the forum on my second, just Print screen and then Ctrl+Shift+V into PaintShop Pro.
I do t think it was always like this, but an F12 screenshot includes the HUD and overlays, the Ctrl+S one doesn’t, just the scene.
I thought (not tried it to confirm though) that Ctrl+S was only in-game not in Editor? Not tried F12 but I don't think it works for me in-game, will try later out of curiosity though.
Yet I JUST hit Print Screen, no combo's of anything, again, weird. That and Ctrl + S for my proper HUDless screenshots
Checked my keyboard map - ctrl+S = screenshot, this however does not work....but F12 works both from within the Editor and outside of the Editor. All very strange.............. Andy
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\(your id)\760\remote\24010\screenshots 760 = Steam screenshot app ID 24010 = Train Simulator Classic Or just press Steam / (top menu) / View / Screenshots There are additional options to change hotkeys and including saving an uncompressed copy. Consult this settings page of Steam:
I'm only using F12 if I want to publish that screenshot on Steam. Greenshot does the rest, you can instantly edit the image and save it where you want to.
