I'm looking at returning to play US content again after a long while, but was wondering what performance and gameplay is like for certain and newer routes. For context, I'm having a bit of a break from German content in TSW as I'm tired of constant blurry textures and video memory errors etc.

Having bought the Deluxe edition of TSW 6, I'm keen, but yet to play Morristown, which looks very interesting; moreover, while I already own NY-Trenton, I'll be playing this again for more NJ Transit gameplay.

Elsewhere, because Boston Sprinter has always been one of my favourite routes, I'm considering getting Boston-Worcester as well as the HSP46 gameplay DLC (for Boston).

Basically, regarding all the routes above, are blurry textures or video memory errors an issue with these routes on Gen 9 console?

Also, how much better is NY-Trenton nowadays in general?

    Thanks!

Having played TSW on Series X since TSW 3, I’ll say that things have improved, but not that much.
performance wise, its give or take. On more busy routes such as New York - Trenton, you'll definitely experience occasional stuttering at New York Penn but it'll get better the further you get away from more populated areas. But let's be honest thats any route these days.
On the topic of New York - Trenton, it's gotten better since its initial release as they fixed alerter sounds and pantograph issues. it's definitely starting to show its age compared to newer routes, however. Signaling is still a mess but I don't use safety systems since the route hasn't been updated to have platinum rewards for using them.
Morristown is honestly my favorite U.S route right now. You'll experience the same stuttering and lag when you're at places such as Hoboken and New York - Penn. I've yet to experience blurry textures on the route.
Boston - Worcester is honestly a good route but since it's a suburban line, it's slower so you won't get that express rush you do on Boston Sprinter. I haven't played it since TSW 6 came out but it was one of the routes I experienced blurry textures on during TSW 5. if you don't get Boston Worcester, I would definitely consider getting the HSP-46 for Boston Sprinter as it adds much needed variety on that route.
