How Load Google Maps In The Editor

    How you get the google maps to show in the editor I know in train sim classic it ctrl + g but don't know in the tsw editor

    go to Setting up API keys - API Console Help (google.com) to get an API key and then click the google static maps icon copy/paste your google API key in the API key section, tick to enable the overlay and put your settings as shown in the image ( setting to normal is usually ok and high definition works but for first time use it takes a little while longer to load)

    Ok I did every thing is not loading up don't know what I did wrong

    In order for the API key to be activated, you must give Google at least a debit card number or something similar, otherwise the API key will not work at all.

    How dumb is that?? Do you really need a card number to activate the API key?! And then you have to pay money for it?

    Well, you won't need to pay anything even if you use it quite a lot inside the editor.

    Hmm ok thanks.



    So I have Maps Static activated. In the editor, a lot of GoogleMapsDecalActors appear in the outliner but I don't see anything in the viewport
