Wondering has anyone had trouble using the expert 101. And how are you coming with it. It actually a great train to operate. I’ve gotten used to it since day one. Wasn’t that bad to get used to. Boy this train actually runs smooth as ice. (Opps oh yeah the ICE). What route have you took it on. As of right now I’m headed to hagen. I’ll let you figure out the route (smile). I think the expert 101 is preparing itself for TSW5. I used it in expert mode for a while now boy I’ll keep you on your toes. The fault are demanding but so far so good. Tell me what you think about the 101 expert. Are you using the expert mode or not.

I love it, just for the fact it adds a new level to the whole driving experience in TSW.

Im no expert, nor im i a train driver. TSG gladly didn't left us in the dark with its Manual and so far i could deal with all faults except once when i turned the chaos factor to 100 and everything went south.

Chaos factor on 1 just feels correct for the types of services we doing, faults can happen but most journeys you wont have to deal with them. I like that they do appear from time to time.

Then its the driving experience itself, the sound's are really fantastic, maybe the best of TSW in its whole, and the physics feel super authenthic.

Only thing is, the sound of the expert IC Coaches "misses" the exceptionally good flansh squeel sounds from the original ones, but otherwise than that really outstanding aswell.

With TSG in general, its that i feel like their products come from rail enthusiast. You can feel that they wanna go the extra mile with their products and i appreciate the eye for details and the commitment to push things forward, and with that pushing DTG. I also like their commitment for continuing support of their DLC. As far as i understood, TSG is not done with the expert 101, already working on fixes and implementing new aspects.

The Price Tag for me was very soon forgotten.

Well, the 101 is already my favorite German loco, if not the most favorite ever, and the announcement alone sent me to heaven. Bought on day one, and ever since driving it basically every day, and no two rides are the same. Very fun, very involved, very educational. Done some really complex runs and ops, like runs across multiple routes or shunting. There are some bugs that are already in the process of being fixed. Overall, love it, well worth the price.

I am getting used to setting it up, driving it is almost like running the non expert 101. My main LOVE is no Rail Driver support for the cab car and 101 digital.

Not using the non expert version anymore. Also didnt use another loco lately.

Probably made around 2000km by now. This dlc is worth the full price.
