Because in the game in formation designer the option for EMT MK3 carriages and let alone their a sole carriage is not there at all unlike the GWR MK3 carriages. So can someone tell how people get these just the EMT MK3 carriages in formation? also considering you cant uncouple the mk3s and EMT HSTs in game.
A combination of mods and hex editing. I added the workaround mod I made to Train Sim Community, that should allow the use of the missing rolling stock in formation designer. Hopefully DTG will at some point add all the missing rolling stock to formation designer, so we don't need to use mods and hex editing just to use them
Somthing interesting - can FGW HST/class 166 reappear using your method? Especially FGW HST , Has DTG delete the whole thing on laterest version pak?
You can use this to get the FGW class 166 in formation designer which doesn't require any hex editing, although you can't put in formation with anything else. I will make a mod for the 166 that works similar to the others soon. The FGW HST was completely removed from the files, so that one can't be brought back
but yea how do you download these mods? I can never figure out how to use them and where to put them in.
Seriously, what's the issue with following the given instructions? Or in case you are having troubles with reading instructions, looking up one of the hundreds of video tutorials on Youtube? I don't see how the modders can make it any easier for anyone. There's even mod managers available, one on TSC and the well known Jonesoft Generic Mod Enabler for pretty much all PC games.
