Being a fan of DeusEx 1, which I consider to be one of the best games ever made, I stumbled upon this large video. It's basically comparing DeusEx (3) Human Revolution with the original game, focussing on development and gameplay mechanics. One thing that's important is that the original game was developed in a "paradise-like" environment with no constraints. id Software founder and Doom millionaire John Romero enabled Warren Spector to "create the game he was dreaming of". The video gives many insights in the development cycle of modern software, and why many companies are moving to/opening studios in Canada btw.
