Is it possible to assign custom key commands to activate PZB, LZB and SIFA? For example in the BR101 you'd have to stand up go around the seat and push them. It takes quite some time every time and is just a repetitive task.

Not that I know of. You can customize the buttons with which you press the keys of the PZB, but I doubt that there is a function to activate the PZB system other than doing it manually.
People have always done it manually.

Thanks. Yes these are the buttons that you can access via the given menu. But none of the "special functions" of an individual loco seem to be acessible though. :(

Not at the moment, I recommend that you put this in the suggestions section, or maybe it has already been posted.
In any case, it does not cost anything to go around the locomotive and activate them manually, after all that is what drivers do in reality. Greetings.

Also some of the switches that are accessible on the dashboard are missing the option to bind hotkeys on them. For example the break key on the BR101. Maybe that will be possible some day via the advanced controls menu. But I guess that'll be be for train cab devices only.
Yeah, might be worth a post in the suggestions section.

You can turn on / off SIFA with SHIFT + ENTER.
You can turn on / off PZB and LZB with CTRL+ ENTER. (You can't set a key for each one separately AFAIK).

Note: I just tried this with the ICE in the Koln - Aachen route. Can't try it with the 101 because I did not buy it, but I think it will be the same.

Works in the BR101 too. Thank you so much! How did you find out? Is there a documentation I am missing? Maybe there is more hotkeys which we simply dont know about.

And CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER toggles all three systems on/off. It does the same with all safety systems on other routes, too.

It is all in-game, under Settings -> Controls -> Keyboard Controls. This is what I use when I want to find the key for something.

This info also appears on some of the game manuals, but I recommend you use the in-game list as it is more complete and accurate. For example, in this case you could have found the info on the MSB manual (page 30), but again, the in-game list is faster and better.

Thank you. I just re-checked but under "Settings -> Controls -> Keyboard Controls" this exact hotkey is not listed. Not even if I choose the BR143 which the manual is refering to. But it seems to work in other locos too.

I think I will have a look in the manual for the BR101 if I can find some more individual keys for the BR101 in it. Where is the manual for the BR101 located at? The DTG site in the loco section there is no BR101 although its a single DLC and not shipped with a route as far as I know.

This is how it looks on my screen:

They probably have not made one. Since TSW2 there have been many releases without manual.

Thank you. I was looking for the word "enter" not the enter symbol. My bad. But I guess there wont be any of the special tasks ( like "break key unlock" in the BR101) assignable to keys then , if they are not shown in the list :(
