How can I disable head tracking in the game settings? And no, I don't mean the option to deactivate it in the tracker software.
Simple close the TrackIR software and its not active... TSW does not have a separate switch.... Or you can use the pause button in the software. Both LEDs on the unit above your'e monitor will coloured orange and than its paused the tracking
Ok, I know that I can close or pause TrackIr, but now I'm at least sure that TSW doesn't have its own option, which is very weak (but somehow to be expected).
A head tracker is nothing special these days, so it is simply weak not to include a corresponding on-off option. All other games that support a head tracker also have this option (at least all the ones I play). So it can't be that complicated. But as I said, I'm not really surprised.
There is also nothing special about pausing or switching it off in the software if the game does not offer it. Whether I click here or there it comes to the same result, be thankful that TSW supports TrackIR at all.
I simply don't want to keep fiddling around in the head tracker myself and adjusting it over and over again for every game. I could happily do without headtracking in TSW, but it doesn't matter because I'm already tired of it and I'm very glad I only tried the free starter pack (I bought the first TSW back then). I actually thought I'd take another look at TSW 5, but I think I'll leave that alone (there's still no Ebula , for example). But thanks for the answers.
How are you having to adjust it for every single Game? I've been using TrackIR for 20 Years, and once I set my Profile up, I never have to change it unless I want a completely different Configuration, which is only 3 clicks to do and done. Also in 20 Years of buying many Games purely for TrackIR implementation, I've only ever come across two Games that had a TrackIR Option to turn on and off. 2 Games in 20 Years. I do see Tobii in Options often though. However a Option really isn't needed. If you don't want to use TrackIR for a certain Game, simply don't open TrackIR. It's really that simple.
