Hi. Im back again with another texture question. I''m trying to make some small visual modifications to the instrument panel. I have found a texture file with the cab interior. However it seems to be very low resolution and nothing compared to how it looks ingame. I'm guessing there is somewhere else I also have to be looking since the instrumentpanel texture is probaly more complicated since it has to sync with buttons and levers. Note that I'm not trying to alter any of this. Just some small visual modifications on the non interactive part of the instrument board. Any ideas?
What train? You might have opened the texture used for the cab while using exterior camera. Cab textures aren't more complicated than normal textures so that shouldn't be any problem. Locate the cab geometry (geopcdx) and the textures should be in a folder named Texstures in the same location.
Let me show you with some pictures. Here we have the tgpcdx form the texture folder with the cab interior. The instrumentpanel is down in the bottom. If you zoom in it's very blurry without details. And here we have it ingame with a lot of details Any clue to whats going on?
Thats not the correct texture you have opened. Its for the interior you see when you use the exterior camera.
Excellent. Thanks a lot both of you. The "Cab" directory was not a sub directory of the "Engine" directory but I found it another place and have now found the high resolution texture files.
