not an expert but maybe it shows the speed depending on what the track speed limit is set to after the signal?
The next speed limit (active at the following signal) would be a Zs3v, not a Zs3. The signal you're using cannot display that.
You have to set a speed limit for a particular signal route and it will show a number based on that. It's as simple as that.
I tried to do the things that DTG Lukas did on his stream but it still don't show anything on the Zs3
If I remember correctly, i just added mine to the signal head and it was working. This is on OBB signals though so I don't know if there's another thing affecting it.
Did you check the "has Zs 3" option in the signal properties? I think it's necessary for every signal that has either Zs3 or Zs3v.
Is the following speed meant to be 160 km/h? In that case, the Zs3 stays off because it only shows a speed restriction, not the next speed. If the speed isn't lowered, HP1 without Zs3 is the correct signal. Hp2 is only used for speeds up to 60km/h. For greater speeds Hp1 + Zs 3 is used.
Ahhhh okay. Thanks. Just one more question. The Lf 7 sign should display a speed (restriction) right? I placed one but it isn't showing it.
Indeed, that's a bit annoying and has to do with the fonts not working If you import your own font and reroute the text renders to use that font it starts to work
I also had this problem and found the following solution: - First you have to go to the “TextRender (Inherit)” category. Then enter a value for “Text”. - Then in the “Font” area, replace the font with the following: “RobotoDistanceField”. The value should then be visible on the sign.
