If you stall on the heavy inclines of Mittenwaldbahn then its hard but not impossible to restart.

For Context, this is a 1 loco +6 passenger formation.

Step 1: Fully apply loco brake

Step 2: Fully release train brake

Step 3: Run Up to Notch 6 on the Tap Change Dash

From here forward you must continually hold the Sander until stated otherwise

Step 4: Slowly release the loco brake in small bursts, the train will slowly move off with a small amount of loco brake still applied

Step 6: after around 3 or 4kmh you can leave the loco brake in the Released position

Step 7: very cautiously increase the tap changer 1 notch at a time

Step 8: you will very slowly bring the speed up, keep increasing the power but do not go above 30Kn of force as you will re-slip and potentially stall again

You can now slowly start testing the rail condition by releasing the sander. Keep the throttle in HOLD while you test as the Wheelslip Protection will lock in the highest notch you can attain without sand

Step 9: At roughly 25-30kmh you can noe resume driving at a decent speed, monitoring the power as if you were doing 60, and slowly increasing to roughly noth 17-19 on the Tap Changer.

Hope this helps anyone in future to avoid them wasting X amount of time
