    We understand that technical issues can be frustrating and overwhelming. Therefore, we want to ensure that players have access to all the information they need to troubleshoot and resolve these issues. Before posting a new thread, please consider the following resources hosted on the Dovetail Support Knowledge Base.

    PC Troubleshooting

    When you are given the option to send a crash report, please include a comment with "#ForDTGReview". This will help us a lot when it comes to tracking down crash logs for specific issues.

    If you're experiencing issues with mastery challenges, please be aware of the following guidelines:
    • You must be logged into the correct Dovetail Live account and connected to the Dovetail Live servers.
    • When the server is busy, it may take longer for your tracked progress to update.
    • You must return to the main menu to log your progress.
    • The connection to the Dovetail Live servers won't be maintained if you are using the Quick Resume feature of your console. Meaning you will need to restart the game and log back in.
    • You will only be able to start contributing progress towards Tier 2 challenges after Tier 1 has been completed.
    • If you are connected and the server is down for maintenance, progress sent will be saved and updated as soon as the server comes back online.
    • A limited amount of offline data will be saved before it is overwritten, so please make sure you are not offline for extended durations.
    • Challenges that require you to complete a specific number of scenarios, will only count those which came with the original route, and not those added via expansions or loco add-ons.
    • You may have to repeat the criteria for any challenges that are still incomplete, if you did not comply with the above notes.

    If you have exhausted the available resources and still can't solve an issue, please reach out to our support team by submitting a support ticket.

    You will require a separate login to submit a support ticket, but you may also log in with Google/Facebook/Twitter if this is easier. A Dovetail Live login cannot be used.
