Hello there, I found out there is a speed selector on the TVG, but don't know you to use it. I found it but cant just use it because the function is not enabled on the locomotive. Anyone can tell me how to make this works? Thanks!
on the right of that box right on the throttle/brake lever, there is a driving mode switch, set that to "selected speed" or whatever it's called
After it's on and set, work the throttle up to max (no tire-burning dragster starts, for your passengers' sake!) But keep in mind, the speed control setup alone is not capable of restraining the train on some of those beastly downgrades (as much as 3.5%)- so you will still have to help it out with manual braking from time to time.
