As TSW 5 will probably be coming out sometime this year, here’s what I’d want it to look like: TSW-5 Standard Edition 40€ Bodenseegürtelbahn-Radolfzell-Friedrichshafen with DB 612,245,650,622. WCML-London-Birmingham(Sorry im not from the UK) with Class 390. As a new country, we could have Poland with Frankfurt (Oder)-Rzepin-Swiebodzin with PKP coaches and EU 44 and EU 160. TSW 5-Premium Edition 90€ Everything from Standard plus Stadler Eurodual and Hamburg-Bremen with Metronom and ICE 4 TSW 5-Special Edition 100€ Everything from Previous plus Railway logo decal pack and DB BR 152. What would your favourite TSW 5 be?
Honestly, None of the Above, Not to mention they already transferred most if not all from TSW3 to TSW4. They need to err excuse me they should Fix what is broken in TSW4 going back to TSW2, They should fix what they broke with patches and bug fixes. But will it happen? Oh I don't know 5x03 & 5x23 Without workarounds That is what they should do, IMHO

My choices: Standard edition: 39.99 (usd) US route: Hanover to Hagerstown. It’s a slow, us freight route that goes through historic locations like Gettysburg. New loco would be the sd40-3 UK route: wcml south. It’s a well wanted route with a new operator new loco would be the class 390. German route: inselbahhn. A island route with many options for new locos. My pick is the 120 (needs to be set before 2020) Deluxe edition: 59.99 would include a new country (Italy) in the form of the line from bresica to edolo it’s a nice route with a good mix of scenery. New stock would be the atr series of SCOTTISH editon. 59.99 : includes all Scottish trains and routes (2 and 3) plus wcml south Plautimum edition. 89.99: includes all of the above (minus Scottish edition) plus Hamburg to lubeck, 218, the 420, rhine Ruhr osten, penasula corridor, baby bullet, mp15dc, wsr, class 52, class 33, east coastway, 313
If I'm quite frankly honest, I'll be real disappointed if WCML is only to Milton Keynes. I think Rugby is reasonable, assuming a similar distance as the ECML, and whilst we can wish for it, Birmingham is a bit of a stretch :/
Since everyone is on the Surfliner hype (tbh, so am I), I will say that I would love to see the Cascades depicted as the next commuter route. It gets us out of California (I say this as a CA native who loves the Bay Area), and puts us in a very different setting. I've never ridden the Cascades, but I've driven up to Seattle and around Washington State many times, and have even been to Vancouver from Seattle once. From what I can see from the road, since Highway 5 traces a lot of the trackage in WA State, it would be a beautiful line to drive, tracing rivers and passing through heavily wooded valleys and passes. BNSF has, essentially, full control of the territory as well so layering BNSF units from Cajon Pass would be nice, or they could add other alternative BNSF motive power (preferably not a GEVO, even though BNSF has the largest fleet of GEVOs). WSDOT Sounder Commuter Trains would also be a great layer. The Coast Starlight could be an AI layer seen in the Seattle Area.
Well the UK route is almost certainly the one that cannot yet be discussed. And I’m convinced if the London terminus is included, the complexity of the first 18 miles will preclude going further than the large station 51 miles from London. At a pinch it might go to the well known shoemaking town 66 miles from London. For Europe, my money is on something in the Rhein Ruhr area, possibly incorporating an existing route remastered and extended. Again although it can’t be discussed, a certain cheap and cheerful green operator might be coming to TSW so almost certainly a route they operate on. US, well with nothing on the release schedule for LA to San Bernardino, seems to suggest this route has been adopted as the American component of TSW5. Otherwise with freight on hiatus, hard to see what else it might be. As regards any bonus content. Well we know it won’t be steam and unlikely to be any classic diesel. The fact DTG seem to have had to double subcontract to get buildings done for the UK route seems to indicate they no longer have much talent for creating content internally. Or those they do have are fully occupied on breathing life into the latest one handled experience.
I agree. Especially since Milton Keynes was something we thought was the maximum possible in the early TSW days. But now I think we can say the limit has increased with routes like ECML and Kassel - Wurzburg even.
If the route ends at Milton Keynes, I'd like the St. Albans Abbey branch as well, even though that would make the route have over 30 stations (I think).
I wouldn’t mind a remake of Rhein Ruhr Hauptstrecke to either Düsseldorf or Dortmund with a overhaul of the services. Probably one of my favourite routes with the busyness of it
