On Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr, when a level crossing has its gates lowered, it plays the sounds that a level crossing would play. That’s good.

But when you spawn at Essen-Eiberg or Wattenscheid-Höntrop, you’ll notice that you can VERY clearly hear the level crossings, even when you’re standing on the station platforms. They are quite loud.

They can also be heard (very clearly) from inside an S-Bahn train that the player is driving. I’ll soon insert a video of this.

I looked around and found this issue present on Hentis Rail’s stream. He was all the way in Wattenscheid, that’s not even on the S-Bahn line! Have a listen at the 01:03:46 mark.

Here we go! Feel free to enjoy 2 minutes of a sound that will ring in your head for a long time.

Thanks Katy, also in the stream there were odd random sounds of buffers coming together. And on riesa dresden the buffer noise happened again and the loco suddenly lurched to over 500km/h. When it did it I erm nearly scared myself....... as you can tell from the comment I made. On thus route I was using the BR 185.5
