On last night's Great Western Diesel Pack stream it was mentioned that the HST (Class 43/Intercity 125) wasn't in the pack because of the amount of work to put it into BR Blue state, including the front headlights, cab, engine (valenta) and interior needing remodelled. Essentially it would be a new loco. So my suggestion is a HST pack that would add the BR Blue plus the Intercity Swallow versions of this iconic train. Other liveries could also be added according to the current licences held, we know a Scotrail licence must be held and this train has had so many colour schemes! Further, it could be enabled to slot into any of: GWE modern/70s route NTP running the express route in BR Blue ECW and SEHS as a railtour option? Plus when the ECML and WCML make it into the game it would slot into those in period or even in alternative Virgin/LNER liveries. (I can't see it fitting into TVL really) plus of course being livery editor and scenario editor compatible. It would be almost the TSW version of this pack for TS: https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=36_89&product_id=169
An HST pack with a range of liveries and the Valenta engines too would be an interesting pack - especially if we get more HST routes in the future.
After the amount of fuss made about the Diesel Legends pack do you think anyone would accept paying again for a train they already own in a different colour with a different engine sound and no suitable place to run it? Asking for a friend.
I would love to see as many HST's as possible in the game. Some livery's would need sliding doors such as the Inter7City (ScotRail) but so many have sliding doors it would be great if DTG did this
Love the idea of one loco as a livery and variants pack. Think the AP approach on TS classic packs has a lot going for it.
