what i need after F1 closes the HUD is a toggle that allows no HUD in general, but it does show in small font upper Right of screen Throttle position or percent any brake that is not off or fully released and any of 4 T 0 D 1 E 4 I not shown as independent brake OFF or fully released or loco has a parking brake instead. Very unobtrusive with HUD off. Try a class 700 on the ECML with no HUD and the view zoomed t where only the centre of the speedometer shows at bottom of view. This aids in catching a yellow signal, but what is the combined handle at depending on the track gradient ?
Ctrl+5 Ctrl+4 Ctrl+4 Ctrl+6 Press those 4 combinations and it should help (also turn off track monitor in settings if you wish). As for the other things you mention, it'll largely have to come from memory. the indications of the right whenever you press a controller button will still be there to help.
