I purchased TSW5 (using windows 11) a few months ago and I enabled the traditional HUD (settings … accessibility … HUD Normal). It worked fine for the past few months. However now, it has disappeared and I can’t figure out how to make it reappear. Anyone else having the same problem?
I don't know the keyboard equivalent but if you hold down the start button (the one you normally press to bring up the ingame pause menu) on an XBox controller it will toggle the entire hud on/off.
On my windows 11 PC, if I push the F1, the upper left dialogue (time of the scenario, arrow w miles to the next destination and instruction (GO via location). disappears. Pushing F1 again, simply makes that information re-appear -- didn't make the HUD re-appear.
There are keyboard shortcuts that toggle various parts of the HUD on and off and some of those are also in the settings menu. The shortcuts are CTRL plus some of the number keys. CTRL + 5 toggles the speedometer HUD in the lower right for the traditional standard style HUD. I think CTRL + 4 cycles through various configurations in the top right of the HUD. CTRL + 1,2 or 3 are for the in-world markers for objective, signal and speed limit changes (in some order). I think CTRL + 7 toggles the rainbow stopping marker on the track I don’t know if there are keyboard shortcut toggles for the track monitor or items in the minimal HUD but there may be things in the various settings menus for those. I use the standard HUD.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. CTRL + 5 made the HUD re-appear in the lower right! Now, I can enjoy TSW5 .... again! Thanks again.
