The black hand is not culturally neutral sign. Duh. The white hexagon is not rail stop but road stop semiotic. We have white circle with black bar and white circle with vertical bar and those would meet our needs in TSW4 PC for now. Current speed restriction should display as distinct from expected block speed limit but the current simple HUD on PC does not have any hint displayed of either as you fly along driving an Azuma bound for London or Edinburgh .... Why does a speed increase on the tape display turn red ? There will be no hint of when your last wagon cleared that sign and no hint of what that change was moments later ... REd for REmember or REgret ? Oh well, i have PS until PC TSW4 gets patched again and maybe fixed. Or what do we call faux XBox under Windows 10 64-bit? WinX ? r Canada
that build did not kill XBox this time ... it killed Windows 10 64-bit which had itself run a live update today ... which had led to a restart to get it out of sluggish morose windowing ... but killing Windows is a gift from Game Mode.
What black hand? What white hexagon? What white circle with black bar? Half your post doesn't make sense to an average reader. We can't help you if we can't understand you. What would help is screenshots to show what you mean. In regards to the speed minutes turning a different color, it's telling you the signal is close by.
They are talking about the pictograms which are part of the UI which relates to your next objective. I guess I'm not your average reader.
Some trains like the Br 193, 182 and Class 66 have a train length function in them that let's the driver know when their train has passed a maker. Others have physical reminders in the cab like the Class 375 and 377 or on screens like the 801. For most trains a driver would know how long their train is and use their own judgement on whether it's safe to speed up after a new limit.
