As im not really a fan of the new HUD Design, i've wanted to change it back completely to the Old style. Somehow i cannot deactivate the new distance bar (or whatever it is called). Im on the German Version, i assume its "Gleisüberwachung"? If so, it wont deactivate at all and changes itself back to "on" when leaving the service into the Menu. Also, im not able to deactivate the Driver Assist. Which is superbly annoying as i drove down the ECML in the Scotsman and it constantly popped up stating that i have to set back my cut-off. Also really annoying on other trains of course, so it would be great if you could look into this. * I've also read in this Forum that there seems a similar problem on XBOX, might be a general problem and not platform related.
I'm on PS5 and don't have the driver assist pop ups. Haven't done the scotchman but I would be surprised I became so good at this game I would not get driver assist pop up so I think it's notifications you need to turn off to get rid of those.
I'm the same. Straight back to the old HUD for me after 2 hours trying the new system. I can't get rid of the right side bar either but it did save me last night as I could see a red just after the upcoming green on it. If thstcwasnt there I would have SPAD on Risa Dresden.
It must be said that the bar actually can help on certain situations, f.e. when there are more than one upcoming speed restriction. Probably a good addition to the old HUD.
That actually works but then other notifications are off aswell. I would prefer to have the driver assists off separately. Worked fine in TSW3 so it should work like that in TSW4
