when i try to load any Huddersfield line scenario the game crashes and an unknown error message shows up
Looks like you will need to check your log file to see what the exception error is. The pack is stand alone so not seeing any dependencies. May need to contact Dovetail support
This is usually a Windows error and initially, you should run the Windows diagnostic tests sfc /scannow, dxdiag and DISM (google) https://www.elevenforum.com/t/0xe06...ystem files,Quarrel with third-party programs, and https://www.minitool.com/news/0xe06d7363.html
I have also seen issues pertaining to interaction with 3rd party anti virus / system optimization software interaction with railworks and crashing the pc when both apps are vieing for memory / disc access!
just done these steps still getting this issue looks im going to have to contact dovetail support also tryed quick drive and same happens on this route
wouldn't say the game bad ive found other routes really good however slightly annoying issue especially when I got ts classic less than week the Huddersfield line work first two days or three days then this issue appeared
Mate, I was referring to 3rd party AV and System Optimizers. They cause more issues than they fix. Don't throw your money into the greedy mouths of Kaspersky, Norton and the likes. They make money with people's fears while collecting your data.. Huddersfield line is great, I'm really enjoying it.
I would have to ask what happened on your pc after your install which might have caused an issue. Do all of your other DLCs run well?
yes they run fine after contacting support and they sent me the technical difficulties guide and after going reinstall of game the Huddersfield line has disappeared from my steam library
AV stands for Anti Virus. They just suck your disc and memory bandwidth. So you decided on a refund on the Huddersfield line? I have personally had no issues with any of the scenarios. https://sites.google.com/view/trainsimulatorcontent/uk-routes/huddersfield
Hope you can solve the issue. For me, NTP Huddersfield and Birmingham Cross City are my favourite DTG productions lately. (LIRR could have been - but it seems they just imported all the assets directly from TSW, hence the terrible performance. There's even more detailed routes which just perform way better.)
Not directly - but import into the modelling software, edit, and export in UE4 format. If you look at the TGV, the cab is exactly the same model (even the cab camera position), enhanced for the TSW version with more buttons working. So the 3D data is the same, it's just the materials are different for UE4. Also the definitions (blueprints) are completely different. Of course they're not directly the same, but based on the same 3DS Max models or whatever modelling tools are used. I've compared some routes (Huddersfield for example is much more detailed in TSC concerning vegetation and buildings). That's not to say there isn't a lot of assets made from scratch in either game.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game and now Huddersfield not in my steam library shows on steam store as I have the the route again
When you click on your list of DLCs (from the properties menu) Huddersfield is shown with a green check mark?
If it is listed then simply check it to download it. If it is not listed in your DLCs then you should contact DTG
yep I responded to the ticket on the first issue I had and I have to contact steam support waiting for steam to get back to me on it
