    I don't know is it?
The point of a suggestion is for you to say why it's interesting and would be a good addition, otherwise it's just (part of) a wish list.

A Saturday timetable would be best for this route. That way you get later trains to Scarborough. Assuming it's set modern day (or at least since the May 25 timetable change).

We already have the Class 170 (for Scarborough runs), and Class 153s are converted 155s (stoppers as far as Bridlington).

No freight along the line, but half hourly trains (one per hour continuing to Scarborough).

Scarborough also has the longest platform bench in the world.

It would be an OK route for those that like commuting passenger runs.

Route also rather infamous for the Lockington Level Crossing incident when a Class 114 DMU struck a van, derailed/overturned with 8 passengers losing their lives and many more injured.

In terms of route appeal, very nice though as always setting in an earlier era could add the now closed Filey Holiday Camp branch and station.

    Another interesting thing about this:

Where the toilets are at Hull Station used to be a barber shop, which a train crashed into circa 1955.

The TTTE episode (and Railway Series story) A Close Shave was based on that incident.
