The small railroad station at Southease on the Brighton-Seaford line appears to be located in a fairly sparsely populated area and the number of passengers boarding at this stop in TSW2 seems ridiculously high to me. Do such crowds of people actually get on and off at Southease?
This might be a controversial opinion, but I liked the Seaford branch more before the RH pax update, I liked the feeling of being a quiet branch line, it feels a bit too crowded since. Not sure if they have the capability, but IMO all the pax on the most of the Seaford Branch stations should be lowered a bit. Mine might be just a misconception about the line though
Done a bit of investigation, here's the passenger numbers for each station for the year 2018-19, ie the total (estimated) number of entries and exits to the station between 1st April 2018 and 31st March 2019, in millions (ie 0.512 = 512,000). I've put in brackets the average number of people per day, as an approximate absolute figure. It is fair to say the Seaford branch should be quiet, however so should most stations on the line. Mainline: Brighton - 17.385 + 1.622 as interchange (47,630 + 4,444) London Road - 0.464 (1,271) Moulsecomb - 0.427 (1,170) Falmer - 1.593 (4,364) Lewes - 2.580 + 0.505 as interchange (7,068 + 1,384) Glynde - 0.068 (186) Berwick - 0.078 (214) Polegate - 0.973 (2,666) Hampden Park - 0.634 (1,737) Eastbourne - 3.581 + 0.061 as interchange (9,811 + 167) Branch: Southease - 0.022 (60) Newhaven Town - 0.308 (844) Newhaven Hbr - 0.053 (145) Bishopstone - 0.039 (107) Seaford - 0.676 (1,852) However, I was under the impression the number graph applied to all stations on the whole route, rather than per station.
