i've had a look on the ps store and i can't even find the game on the Malaysian store. what kind of restrictions do you have for games
I think that's the point it is not there or any add ons. Some countries restrict access to certain games or Applications on mobile phones for (in their words) Security reasons or decency restrictions. Not a lot that anyone can do if the government of a county deems something is not acceptable. Though of course not sure if that is the issue here.
Well, you can buy both Railway Empire and Bus Simulator on the Malaysian Playstation Store.... so, the OP might well be have guessed right - maybe there was a legal/contractual reason why DTG chose not to market Train Sim World in that country, on Playstation. Maybe DTG can't (reasonably) provide post-purchase support in Malaysia, so can't offer their products for sale there...? Dunno. Or maybe DTG just didn't get around to marketing Train Sim World properly, because they don't have a robust process in place to do that (yet). Dunno (but that would be my guess).
TSW isn't published to all PS region stores. Here in Japan we can't get it either. But it shouldn't be so hard to open a free UK PS login and purchase UK PS store cards from elsewhere on the internet. That's the way I got TSW running. You can then play it from the UK account or from within your own country account.
