I think TSW 5’s route hopping feature is one of the greatest additions to the game, but a lot of the connections remain broken. So, I thought it would be an interesting exercise to actually graph as many of the connections as I could to see exactly which ones work, and which ones have issues. I've embedded the resulting graphs for London and Scotland below, but if you're not able to see them (or want to learn more) I put up a page on my website going into more detail. What I learnt from the experience is that (especially in London!) the relationships between routes is really much more complex than you might think on first glance. I'm hoping the crew at DTG will have a chance to fix the broken connections, and maybe these graphs will help. I understand the challenges in updating old routes across multiple platforms, but this really is a fantastic feature and it would be amazing to see everything hooked up as intended. Footnotes on Scotland graph: 1 Fast Travel point is present, but no route or timetable options appear when trying to route hop. Expected behaviour is to be able to choose between the original and super express timetables. 2 Defaults to original timetable (2019). Expected behaviour is to choose between 2019 and 2024 timetables. 3 Defaults to original timetable. Expected behaviour is to be able to choose between the original and super express timetables.
Thank you for that. There also is a text guide for route hopping at the TSW5 FAQ pages which lists the connections. https://dovetailgames.freshdesk.com...-train-sim-world-5-faq#What-is-Route-Hopping?
