I Have A Very Big Problem With The Sd40-2 Sand Patch Grade. Explore On Foot Mode.

There is a problem while you do service in explore on foot mode in sand patch grade with the SD40-2 the SANDER lead truck is off while the sander white light icon is on. The loco can’t move while the white sander light is on. The sanding lead truck is off at the same time. I think this is a bug.

 

This is what I am talking about.

 

You have the brakes applied.

 

You have to go explore on foot to see what I am talking about. The breaks are released.

 

I see the brake handle being at Full service and/or beyond.

 

This happens in Sherman hill as well in explore on foot mode.

 

Yeah but when I had it on there it was release. I put the breaks back on. But when I tried it it was release. You should give it a try in explore on for mode and see if it happens to you

 

When I release the breaks in explore on foot mode. Using the sd40-2 the sander icon light is on. While the sanding lead truck is off. Now by me saying this the sd40-2 won’t move. Due to that. I have the breaks release at the time. Some of the se40-2 won’t do that but few of them do.

 

If anyone have time do explore on foot mode in sand patch grade. And wait for a train to show up for service. And see if that happens to you. Remember you must be in explore on foot. Wait for a service. Just don’t do one do a couple of them.

 

Start at rock wood in the explore on foot mode and wait for a train to show up. Wait for the sd40-2. Do not spawn using the time table. You can check the time. But don’t spawn in the time table. Do the explore on foot and wait for it in rock wood.the same thing happen in Sherman hill using the explore on foot mode

 

Do you have cut-out valve set to "Freight" or "Passenger" and MU-2A valve to "Lead or Dead"?

 

Sanding shouldn't affect the ability of the loco to move, at all. It really has no effect at all except when starting up in slick conditions.
