I am trying to get the Alpha Channel on the windows working correctly, I have no idea why every time I try this is what happens or the loco turned into a pink/purple transparent thingy I am using Blender 2.93 and I have NO idea what Railworks material to even use, I have used both Texdiff and the trainobjectdefuse.fx and still have the same issue over and over I have even separated the windows from the main body and unlinked the main body material and texture, so that the windows are setup with it's own material and texture slot... And you guessed it, I am running into this same problem not just with this model either Could someone please tell me how to do it!
Really?! This forum isn't very helpful at all I think, I know now what to do in Blender to solve the problem
It's not that the forum is unhelpful it's that you chose the wrong one, the majority of the members of this forum are player based, with a small mix of route builders, scenario makers and reskinners, an even smaller percentage will be people with scripting knowledge and or model building. If you were expecting help off the staff then yeah wrong game title, they barely look in on the TSC forum as they're more concerned and focused on TSW3. There are forums out there that tend to focus more on the technical side of TS than the gameplay, I suggest you try your questions there, for example UKTS, RailWorks America and railsim.de I believe are a few. Helpful enough?
Thanks for the heads up mate At least someone replied, really appreciate it I will ask the guys at UKTrainsim
I've solved this by saving the tga textures as 24 bit first and then saving the tga again as 32 bit both works fine
