Epic Games I Really Like Track Monitor But I Wish It Worked More Reliably

When they first announced the track monitor feature I though cool, I liked the idea of being able to see multiple upcoming signals and speed changes. When it works, its great but there are many instances where its not showing speed limits. I thought maybe it was just an issue with older routes but even newer ones that have come out since track monitor was added have issues.

Like this instance on SBL, the next speed limit thing is showing the upcoming 35mph limit but the track monitor did not :



Nor did it show the 10mph limit that followed the 35 one:



This is just the kind of situation where track monitor would be really useful, kind of annoying that you can't always trust it.

I have been caught like that so many times on different routes.

 

I really wish it showed neutral sections...

 

Showing upcoming speed limits is pretty nasty.
In Fact as long as the train is passing a speed limit the track monitor and next speed limit show somehow random stuff. When driving American Freight like San Bernardino it get's really really bad! (also because the speed signs on that line are not readable to me because too small)

I've actually wanted to report this issue for a long time but haven't had nerves to put together an "evidence video" to bug report it...

 

Also many signals are missing from the track monitor on many routes.

Also the position of many speed limit signs on the real track do not quite match up with what is on the monitor or the distance indicator, some times this is just a few yards which is fair enough, but other times it is much further.
