Hey guys, I almost feel silly for opening a thread just for this, but I couldn't find any info even with my black belt in google-fu.

During the TSW3 Kassel - Wurzburg journey you have training scenarios for pzb and lzb, I understand how to use the systems and have been using them from the start, but when I found out the whole speedometer HUD was in my way I no longer know when lzb ends, in the HUD the Ü is there as the scenario says, but I can't find it in the mfd as the tutorial says, what am I missing here ?

You should see a flashing yellow Ende light on the cetner display as you're approaching the end of LZB. You need to acknowledge this with either PZB Acknowledge or PZB Release; 90% sure it's PZB Release. The light will go steady.
Continue as you were for a bit longer.

Once you're out of LZB territory, the system will go dark and it will revert back to normal PZB monitoring. The throttle will also automatically go to a no power state.

What you want to do now, for the ICE 3, is leave the AFB at maximum and put the throttle to off.
Then go into the left screen and turn AFB off.
Bring the AFB down to your new intended speed, turn the AFB back on, and increase the throttle.
You should now be in control of the train again.

(Also if you're coming off LZB on Kasel Wurzburg my assumption is that you're approaching Wurzburg. You're gonna have color light signals to acknowledge so be mindful.)

Unnecessarily excessive amount of work. Reduce AFB to 0, reset to desired speed, you're good to go.

Yeah but then the train starts to brake to 0

Not if LZB is correctly implemented.

As soon as you exit the LZB, the AFB goes "blind" for three seconds. That's when you have to put the AFB to zero and then back to desired speed. The train will not brake during this time. You do not need to zero throttle if LZB works correctly.

This is to prevent the train from accelerating to max speed after leaving LZB, as the AFB lever will still be on Max if the driver forgets to put it back. So this procedure is to make sure the driver adjusts the speed after leaving LZB. (Very likely this was implemented after an accident, like all safety systems.)

    Interesting.
I’m not sure I can make 3 seconds though. I use joysticks and TrackIR

Using the mouse you can smash the lever to zero like in real life :). Zusi 3 has extra keybinds for zeroing AFB/Throttle/Dynamic brakes.

Even if you don’t make it in three seconds you still only get a slight speed blip

Hey guys, I found the Ü in question :) It was just a bit hard to see when the lights for it was on and off.

    Hi guys
I don't want to create a new thread, but I didn't find the answer to my problem.
Is there any way to "rearm" a LZB in ICE 3 (BR 403)?
I have the following problem in SKW: I start at Fulda at 15:10. I'm taking control of ICE 796 (BR 401 / 15:13) to Kassel. After arriving in Kassel, I wait a few minutes and then I try to take control of ICE 1587 (BR 406 / 15:56). In first train I use all systems Sifa+PZB+AFB+LZB. On second I can turn on Sifa+PZB+AFB but not LZB. When I turn LZB on, the "B" appears on the HUB but train not detect LZB - I can go max 160 km/h.
I have tried enabling LZB with various configurations: reverser neutral/forward, PZB on/off, even turning the battery on and off, the LZB stiil don't want to work.

But, If I run the ICE 1587 scenario alone (without a previous trip) the LZB work correct.
I suppose that is a bug in game but maby you have any ideas how to reset the LZB system in ICE 3? It would be nice to can do a several services in one game session.

In reality, LZB monitoring only begins at specific points, the start of the LZB track equipment and from there on every ~10km I think.
My theory: when you start a service TSW makes an exception and lets you start LZB monitoring anyway, but when you take over an AI-controlled ICE, it drove into the station without proper LZB setup and you need to drive until you reach a point where LZB can start.

Yes, you can deactivate LZB and activate it again and it will remain off intill you pass the specific point.
