While browsing through Wikimedia Commons I have discovered that since 2019 ICE 4601 (named Europe) has a special livery. This livery advertised the 2019 EU parliament elections. I have no proof that this livery is still applied to this particular train but I still think it would be nice to see it in the game. This could be spawned at random, just as the Trainbow Javelin.
Good idea, I also mentioned the Europe livery on 406 001 in my suggestion for extra German liveries, among many others, to break up the endless seas of traffic red. I think they would work good as rewards for Mastery or Community challenges.
Didn't notice your post. But I think this livery would be particularly suited for the game, as there is not too much work needed here and there aren't any licensing issues.
Yes, I have proof that the livery was at least applied until September last year, but after that I had no further proof. I think it still is applied to the train and even if it's not it would make a great addition to the game
Ahem: DB will never allow that to happen, meaning, they won't give license for the livery. Plus it is probably more complicated than that.
Well DTG already has the license to use the DB logo and name. You don't need a license to use the European Flag so I don't see why you would need a special license for this livery. And even if there is a license involved I see no reason why DB would not allow this. HMA comes with the green/white livery so what should be the problem with this one?
What set is that EU flag on with a blue stripe? The problem is, it is on a DB flagship and DB doesn't even allow ICE to be used in livery contest. It is their baby and they do protect her fiercly. If you are wondering more, I do invite you to get in touch with DB and let them to explain. Mind you, you can buy a lot of ICE merch on DB shop and website, including seats, tables, mugs, luggage racks etc.
Yes as it is the official DB branding supported by German government and European parliament in which they gave proposed to bring international services under one branding in collaboration between SNCF, NS, DB, ÖBB and I belive SNCB as well in the further future. You can find more on EU website regarding transportation in Europe.
