Hey there, As you all (hopefully) know, the Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn will more or less soon be released as a new DLC for TSW, and on a few pictures you can see an ICE, I think, 3: The route is located on the timeline around 2014. At that time (as well as today), there were several ICE (and TGV) train pairs running from Frankfurt (via Mannheim and Kaiserslautern) to Paris every day: Click: [fernbahn.de] List of services of Trains on ICE Line 82 (FFM-Paris) in 2014 The rolling stock used were so-called ICE 3MF - quasi ICE 3M, which were slightly modified for traffic in France. Here you have a picture of the driver's cab, you should quickly recognize a few differences to the ICE 3M: Credit: Sebastian Terfloth (Source: Wikimedia Commons); CC-SA-2.5 So why am I even making this suggestion if it's (almost) clear that there will be ICE 3 services? Well, unfortunately I fear that the ICE 3Ms from Cologne-Aachen will simply be recycled for these services. Sure, that wouldn't be a disaster, but it would still be disappointing, at least for me. That's why I'm making the effort here! What do you think? Do you feel the same way? Or is it not so important to you?
That‘s a very good point. I‘d like to also point out that they have already managed to incorporate differences in different variants of the same loco, namely the three BR 193 Vectron locos: The Railpool, DB and Flixtrain versions all have slightly varying control layouts irl and they‘ve adhered to that in the sim and given the ICE 3M needs a revamp anyways since it‘s still TSW 2 preservation I have hopes that they‘ll do that properly (the new Vectrons (DB and FLX) have been TSW 5 additions so maybe they have actually learnt from past mistakes
Really needed and for the TGV that runs on this route it needs to be either Euroduplex or TGV POS. Here's the SNCF video on how to test PZB/LZB on the TGV and in one part of the video the voltage selector switch at 46 seconds.
Yeah I got it. It‘s a brilliant mod. Just a shame for console players that they can‘t access the mods
