Hey all, I started this service via the Journey Mode (Kassel - Wurzburg) and it starts me with the front coupler open, how do I close it?

The hatches should close automatically at about 30km/h.

I have the same problem, the train isn't moving with the coupler open and I found no way to close it.

Someone else has a similar issue on this exact service I believe.

The coupler has no effect on anything - that will close when it wants you and you can still move.

However, it seems that AFB is activated and set to 5 km/h by default on this particular service. You have to turn it off (or set it as you wish) if you want to keep going.

Then you have forgotten something or set it up incorrectly. Open bow hatches have no disadvantages on the functionality of an ICE except for the aerodynamics. Since the bow hatches are quite susceptible to failure, you can sometimes see ICE running with open bow hatches in real life.

EDIT: Just had a look at 1580, there is definitely something wrong with AFB. If you activate AFB you can not start, I departed without AFB, then set it to 330 and could activate it without problems. I also noticed that the front pantograph was raised, shouldn't it always be the rear one?!

Thank you, will try turning it off and then on again later in the journey. Will confirm if it works or not.

UPDATE: Can confirm that leaving AFB off allows you to move as per normal, after a little while the couplers close, AFB can be then activated and works as per normal. TrainSim-Matt might be worth taking a look at this as it sounds like some kind of bug. Happy to be corrected.
