So the below photos are from the consist creator from inside Train Sim for Quickdrive. Could something be made thats similar to this for TSW. in effect it lists all of you DLC that you have and the reskins for TSW. Then if you would like say a particular consist say a DB Red Class 66 hauling PCA Cement Tanks or TEA Tanks, then as long as they are brake type (Vac or Air) compatible regardless of them being two totally separate dlc's then it should be fine to select them. As long as you own the dlc's then really in theory there is no problem, or is there? We will probably never see it happen but well you never know. The Scenario creator in TSW at the moment is so limited in what it can do and not so limited in what it cant do. We need to change that around so that its limited in what it cant do and limitless (kinda) in what it can do. What are your thoughts on this? Regards Hentis
We can only hope! Would like to be able to build more interesting consists for scenarios instead of being limited to just a 33 hauling coaches for example
I think the 33 on WSR is the only one thats set to vac brakes only. But surely this setting could be changed to both Air and Vac in the locos config file? Hentis
I couldn't remember the stream for the life of me, however, I recall someone (I believe it was Matt) said that Scenario Planner 2.0 would have a Consist Editor in it. I would imagine it would be similar to the TS one, considering that the TS one actually works well and is user friendly. Hopefully it comes soon though.
Consist creator is very necessary (as well as dual braking of current vacuum only locomotives where applicable) to allow us the desired freedom to run what we want, where we want.
