You are aware they are working on a patch to fix most things? Also if you've going to comment about bugs, post them so that people can either confirm they are getting them as well.
I am aware, but I'm annoyed that they would release it at this stage. The bugs I'm experiencing are the known ones.
It'd be helpful to know which exact bugs you are talking about. Was there anything new that wasn't seen on stream? Was it the lighting in the tunnels? The windshield wipers? Unexpected pop ups? I think I'm okay with what was shown on the latest livestream and I'm planning on picking it up, but if there's any additional issues that arise it might make me reconsider things.
So why did you feel the need to make a new post about it? They already said in the stream that they weren't going to delay the release, the fixes are inbound hopefully in the next week, you bought it knowing that, then have the audacity to say its not enjoyable! I've just spent an hour and half having some lovely runs, both high speed and stopping. The 2nd stream managed my expectations well and I knew what bugs to expect.
Same here, Sound, Lighting and the Wiper sounds already knew about and they have said a patch will be released for some of them pretty soon. So really not sure what you are crying about to be fair. It doesnt ruin or take anything away from the gameplay to be honest. Hentis
Erm..... what do you mean? There's plenty of functionality within the cab.... What exactly are you after from it?
Because rushed things are just not what you expect from a professional developer. Also the power controller doesn't rotate to horizontal and various buttons aren't working.
I guess I just expected more, but there are some things I think could've been implemented but weren't for some reason.
Elaborate.... otherwise you whining carries zero weight...... Like what buttons? The signal button, and back-light for brakes switch not working are known bugs.
More than likely user error. As if the scenario was broken like that you'd have more people complaining. Which scenario was it?
Shopping run is it called? I put them up to max and they then went into the red zone and got stuck, I'm not a newbie driver and there was no safety system trip.
You're not getting bullied. You're being asked to provide more detail, so people can go away and test and see if they can replicate. You're fully entitled to an opinion, but you're not providing detail to your gripes, and are just putting ball park statements out there. I'm genuinely interested to your expectations so that if something is actually there and you've missed it, it can be pointed out.
Sounds like you activated the emergency brakes. Which has a cool down period of a few minutes if I remember rightly before they will release.
Alright well don't say I'm whining, kinda sounds bad. I'll get on the forums tommorow with all the bugs I've experienced.
The brakes weren't applied as hard as when in emergency and there's was no sound or indication it was in emergency. Mystery.
You just said the brake needle was in the red.... that's over 100% brakes applied which means you've gone to emergency.....
It goes a little into the red at max brake, like I said I didn't get any notification of emergency brake... No idea.
Just gonna jump in here and say that I haven't experienced anything outside of the issues raised in the last stream, to be honest it seems to be better, the 'firefly' effect isn't in the tunnels (probably one of Matt's settings combined with the tunnel lighting issue), the wiper sounds do work, the train management computer lets you select different screens & the 395 does give a little more audio than I could make out on stream. As others have tried to ask, what specific issues are you having? maybe we can troubleshoot... Edit: The breaks are VERY sensitive, anything after the initial setting is very sensitive to input, so it could of been driver error. Edit 2: Wiper sounds are only audible from in the cab if you have the door open.
Just curious, what settings did you have wipers on and was it raining? I put them on to test in the dry and couldn't hear anything.
Had them on speed 60, but the weather was dry, i'll jump into a scenario now with rain and give them a go.
So, interestingly the sound only works from the exterior, I did have the door open when I tested them initially, and just repeated the test. From the interior camera they are inaudible, from the exterior camera they are audible but quiet, and from the interior camera with the cab door open they sound normal.
