   Why did the game need an core update. The old version was doing fine.

   The reason really was for next gen consoles. It would allow dtg to do more for next gen since on 4.23, we would play on the xbox one version. With 4.26 it allows dtg to have separate versions of the game and thus be able to do more with next gen without hurting last gen.
