I played that route a lot on MSTS when I was a child. I’d love it too when DTG will resumes steam projects.

Seeing as we have got the ECML I think I'll go with the East Lincolnshire line from Boston to Grimsby with a V2 and B1... Oh hold on no chance of that.

More realistically then, lets go for York to Newcastle in the 70s.

As this is a pure wishlist of stuff, I'm just going to say every line that has ever existed on the planet, both past, present and future lines when they exist in the real world......

Why I restrained myself from the usual Yugoslavian narrow gauge indulgence - Gostivar to Ohrid or Mostar to Dubrovnik.

It was Fife Circle for me but I got lucky. So I guess now it would have to be Edinburgh to Dundee.

Dresden-Schöna would be nice. Even though an extension to Děčín would be cool, as more AI and better EC services, this would require czech safety systems to be realistic( which I totally want, but I think DTG does not want to create new safety systems) Also Erfurt to Leipzig and Halle would be nice, but again, we'd require a new( or just better) ETCS in Level 2(not 100% sure Level 2 is used on the route, just think it is) for this route to be realistic.

Any section of the old GWR/LMS lines between Paddington and Birkenhead Woodside, or any section of the old GCML. Simply because it would be the only way to 'visit' lost stations like Birmingham Snow Hill, Birkenhead Woodside, Nottingham Victoria and Sheffield Victoria.

Not counting in factors such as DTG, Licensing, or TSW's limitations.....

Pacific Surfliner: San Luis Obispo - San Diego.

    Why?

-Full intercity rail line with various scenery.
-Local Commuter lines with Metrolink and Coaster.
-Multiple Freight options with Union Pacific and BNSF.
-Decent running length for Amtrak's Coast Starlight.
-Scenic, urban, and almost everything in-between.

Wien Hbf - Wiener Neustadt Hbf, all three lines/branches - the Liesing/Modling/Baden one, The Pottendorfer Linie and both fragments of Aspangbahn (IRL you have to take a 5047 from Wien Hbf to Traiskirchen Aspangbahn, there you disembark, cross the platform and board another 5047 to Wiener Neustadt, joining the Baden line near Sollenau) :)

I love all routes between Bratislava and Vienna (even counting Wolfsthal - Wien Mitte/Floridsdorf), but the one above would have most variety and traffic (Baden line is 150-160 kmh I think, Pottendorfer is supposed to be 200, but some stuff is still in construction there, and Aspangbahn is up to 120, though mostly 80-100)

Would love for the one and only "The Canadian" Route to be added. While UTTERLY ENORMOUS, Stretching from Toronto to Vancouver in Canada, A giant DLC Collection to feature the incredible route would be Stunning!!! Getting to see the beauty of the Great Canadian Shield, The Praries, traveling through the Rockies, truly all forms of terrain to challenge even the most experienced of the Train Sim World players!!!

Tough choice for one route, but I’m going to pick Tyne and Wear metro.

I’ve been on certain sections and think it would be brilliant if done right in TSW

Well, I always wondered why there was PZB on openrailwaymap in UK. Thought it was a bug, thanks for informing me!

Amtrak & Metro-North's Hudson Line, circa the late 90's/early 00's, with connections to GCT and NYP to simulate pre- and post- Empire Connection operations. Mostly FL9's, Amtrak heritage LD equipment, Turboliners, SPV's, ACMU's, M1s, and Conrail freights.

GCT/NYP to Poughkeepsie, ideally. Include the stub of the old Put and the Hospital Branch in Poughkeepsie for some fun freight ops.

It would never happen (aside from the current TSC route), but it's for sure my bucket list TSW route.
