I've seen some of the comments on the official Snowrunner Facebook page and it does not seem to have been well received.

Suspect it was originally conceived as a desert map(s) for Snowrunner to be sold as DLC, but Saber then got told to issue as a new £35 game. I love Snowrunner but have zero inclination to get this.

I think this is more off topic, someone will be along to shout at us soon.

If expeditions had been multiplayer I would have picked it up, snowrunner still has a place thanks to that feature (and more besides) missing from exped.

When it comes to TSW though they’re already doing their tram stuff separately which I see as being along the same lines.

There’s not much room for something similar to happen to TSW, we’re already paying £30 a route, then £25 for a much smaller route.

Expeditions was never going to go down well, they made a comically smaller scoped version of an existing game, and made a hash of it at that.

I think the developers decided to create that, not focus. If focus was really that authoritative, there wouldn't be any good games. Compared to activision, focus is still much better and don't force the devs to create anything

Blame the shareholders, not the game developers or publishers.

Shareholders are a bunch of investors who know nothing about video games. They are only here to make profit and force unreasonable release dates, along with endless DLC... It's a bit like a casino, but you get more control over the cards.

I love SnowRunner and after watching IGN's review I'm disappointed with what I saw. At least I saved money on not buying it!
