Been making a fair bit of in roads and progress learning how to modify rolling stock (coupler changes etc) but now I’d like to try and figure out how to get liveries working

wondering if it’s possible to do the following:
    1) (easiest for me and end user) is there a way to set a rail vehicle to be livery editor compatible. I don’t mean one that hasn’t specifically been set up for this by dtg, but one that has been modded but has the textures in game for livery designer. My main goal is the MK3 coaches from gwe hst. They are clearly “compatible” with livery designer as they are available in there in various formations with the power cars, but I’d like to be able to make them compatible standalone. So many possibilities with mk3s but at the moment I’m stuck with GWR base livery. Another example is a coupler swap on a loco. Once I’ve done that the loco works fine but that version can’t be done in livery editor

    2. I’ve seen timetable mods with creators club/livery designer liveries cooked in, so wondering how to import these into the editor. This might be a way around idea 1 if it’s not possible. It I can get a livery texture from livery designer imported into the editor I might be able to separate it out to individual vehicles in a formation, then cook that as a mod with that livery on a specific vehicle

    3. Hardest method, is there a decent guide on how to do a livery from scratch in the editor? I used to be quite good on doing liveries on unwrapped textures on Il2 sturmovik but the ones in tsw4 seem impossible to decipher!!

It's question that no one wants to answer, how do you get CC livery's in the PC editor , I've ended up creating my own loco variant and using GOD mode file the bodyside texture and repaint in GIMP, so far I've had some fairly decent results
