I have just got a new PC with the hard drive from my old PC installed as a slave drive I have just downloaded TSW4, any one any idea how I can my progress over from the old install ? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Install TSW3 (just the base game without DLC is fine) Launch TSW3 so it generates a save file In the old drive, go to Documents/My Games/TrainSimWorld3 and copy the contents of that folder In the new drive, go to Documents/My Games/TrainSimWorld3 and delete the contents of that folder and then paste the old folder's contents Launch TSW4 and if it hasn't been launched before it should detect your TSW3 save, if you have launched it before delete the Documents/My Games/TrainSimWorld4 folder. I haven't done this myself but I think this should work.
Thanks for your help, I did a slight variation on your suggestion, I copied the old My Games/Trainsim 4 into the new. It appears to have worked. I am grateful for your time and Help Nick
