Adhesion is a great feature, but it doesn't always seem to be properly parameterized! Example freight in HRR: Freight train in the snow from Hagen to Wuppertal. Shortly after the train station there is an incline of 1.9%, until then I cannot get enough speed (limited) to make the incline. The train gets stuck halfway up the slope and it is impossible for me to start again. Meanwhile I am quite used to dealing with the adhesion and I know what the sand is good for ... Then I drove the route in the opposite direction. Suddenly I got a red signal and had to initiate emergency braking. On a slope of 2.6% !!! But what can I say - here I got the train going again very quickly ... For fun, I let the first train run by AI. It can of course handle the 1.9% incline without any problems. And it is noticeable that the adhesion hardly has any effect when braking! I also have wheel slip when I am on the ground level of e.g. 65% to 70% Throttle increase. That doesn't seem realistic to me either. I have already noticed something similar in several services. How are your experiences with it?
Yeah. Spessart Ramp vs Rain vs Preserved Train... 1. Adhesion is unbalanced. 2. Preserved Locos have become underpowered.
