The depot service on chapter 4 of journey mode is impossible to finish. When you're in the last part, about to park the train in the depot, the place where you're suppose to leave it is inside a shed with collision, therefore, it's impossible to continue. Moreover, if you leave the train at the shed entrance, some cars stay on top of the rail intersection, which causes other trains to ram you off the track. Has anyone else had this issue?
Just tried another depot service (MBTA Providence #810). Soon as you start it you will see a train ahead stuck and another one moves into it. Can't complete.
I have just re-created this on PS5, impossible to complete and very frustrating given the release debacle. Poor Adam, another one for the list.
I submitted a kayako support ticket earlier detailing the issue and linking to the 3 threads about it I have found so far. Hopefully it gets fixed in the first update
Oh great, that was the next on the list to do. Thanks for the warning. i don't understand how these issues continually seem to be getting through their QC/testing.
I've found a workaround, albeit looking ridiculous.... simply use one of the other tracks (set your manual junctions) to go around the shed right till the end of the line and simply reverse in carefully so that the rear car reaches the objective marker. I've just done this and completed the service.
I tried that workaround but I couldn't for the life of me get the points set to that track from where I was. Also AI trains eventually turn up and block that highlighted section if you are too slow. I'll have to wait for the official fix I suppose --edit-- Yay I managed to complete it using the same workaround but a different track to the back of the depot (The track 3 over from the left of the one you highlighted) Well at least it;s done now...but yeh, this needs fixing.
Interesting, that's the track I couldn't use because the junctions couldn't be changed, but glad you completed it
As thundergaming11 said, just manually set the points to a track (there are only 2 clear tracks) to behind the depot rather than coming in from the front. For some reason reversing into the depot doesn't cause a derailment as the back carriages clip through the door
A fair portion of the timetable is messed up and it is quite obvious they didn’t test it. It’s a shame the community are expected to do what DTG should do before releasing content, in this case testing services to find possible issues.
