Train Sim World 3 Improve Controller Support On All Platforms

Why is it that after over 5 years of this game existing on console has Dovetail not added more controller features for their console community? It's not like they don't know how, because the rudimentary controller support for Train Simulator Classic (that is only available on PC) supports rumble when crossing junctions or joints.

    1. Rumble
It really disappointing because there is definitely people who only play on console, or use a controller on PC, who would appreciate the additional immersion that rumble can provide. Obviously like every other game, this would be an option, and could be disabled if preferred. I don't understand why this isn't included yet because like I said it's available on Train Simulator Classic.

    2. Remapping (on the fly)
Why can't we remap controller buttons but PC users can remap keyboard controls? I understand that controller layouts are complex and may require modifier keys to access all the settings. Why not let users make and save these layouts and share them via Creators Club? That way I could set up the controller the way I like, have quick access to the functions I most frequently use, or use different layouts depending on what locomotive I am using. Plus it enhances accessibility for those who have trouble using certain keys.

Please let me change controller layouts while playing the game. I understand that there is additional elements to the Classic controller (namely the Driver/Camera switch system) that make it challenging to switch between that and immersion.

    3. Second controller support
Let me use a second controller so I can access additional axes for a (theoretical, at this stage) cross-platform & homemade raildriver, or use exclusively for camera control similar to how the classic layout camera mode worked.

    4. Look into mouse support on console

I can confirm that my mouse works on my Playstation 5, just not with this game. Planet Coaster on PS5, made by a British company, works with my mouse. I think you should look into adding that functionality, because more options on consoles cannot hurt.

    5. Additional PS5/Dualsense Exclusive Features
I understand not supporting adaptive triggers or the microphone included with the Dualsense, because those features are not available on any other platform, but it still would be nice if you could find use for these in game. For example adaptive triggers could mimic the notches on levers or offer more resistance depending on your force. The microphone could be used instead of the on-screen keyboard to input text into search, or as Matt has stated in his wish list some sort of voice control. Even though only the PS5 platform would benefit, (maybe PC could as well?) it would definitely be a value add and a good gesture for those players who experienced the add-on limit.

The fact that the team has spent more effort supporting the features of a third party, PC only, expensive, optional controller and has left other official, mandatory, multi-platform input devices features unexplored is a little embarassing especially since their previous game already has some of them. I'm sure they won't but can someone on the team care to explain this seemingly bizarre prioritization of an optional, single platform accessory over standard features in (on consoles, at least) mandatory input methods?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for a feature they would like to see added to the controller in the future? Or new types of controller you would like to see supported?
