With so many routes and layers it can sometimes be hard to pick a service to do. Although the random feature is nice sometimes you’re still in the mood for something certain, but not quite sure. I’d like to see a random button at the bottom of the menus so no matter how far you are into selecting a certain thing you can randomise at the point you’ve selected up to. For example, I’m in the mood to drive the class 170 but I’m not really sure what route or service. So I’d pick ‘train depot’ then the ‘170’ and the before selecting the route. At the bottom there would be a random button. This would now select any random 170 service from content you have installed. This would also work with routes. I want to drive the WCML but not sure what loco. I’d pick ‘choose route’ then say ‘London Euston to Milton Keynes’ then from this point the random button again and it will select any random service from this route. It could go a little deeper and random select from however far you’ve gone into a choice so far. So actually I want to drive the above route but I know I want to be on the 390 just not sure what service. So ‘choose route’ then ‘London Euston to Milton Keynes’ and then the ‘390’ but then click the random button. And this will pick any random 390 route in this map. This would make it much nicer when your just not quite sure what to do as there is some much choice.
