I have tried to create scenarios on the Dutch Spoorlijn Zwolle - Groningen, which worked out and were able to be completed, but what I noticed is that the game somehow found it necessary to have the trains drive on the left track instead of the right track, which in one of the two scenarios caused unnecessary obstructions. One example i can give is when there was a train coming into station Meppel platform 1 and departed towards Zwolle, trains from Zwolle, which were set to go to Groningen, had to wait at an intersection about 10 Km away from the station because they wanted to go via Meppel platform 2 via the left track while that's not necessary. Now to my idea that came into mind with this: an Improved Scenario Planner. The scenario planner as how is it now is quite nice to use, but the improvements I thought about to be added would make it even better and possibly able to create more realistic scenarios: 1. Adding a live view map just like when playing a scenario. When creating a scenario with the planner with this feature, you can see the trains at their starting position and you can interact with them to view it's path. With this, also enables the option to create your own set route by adding "Go Via" waypoints just like in Freeroam. This would cause red light obstructions to appear way less, unless you make it this way yourself. 2. With adding the live map could also enable creators to add "static" trains to scenarios to have "parked" trains at sidings or at stations, also giving the possibility to create scenarios where trains have "broken down" on routes. 3. Have the option to start or end at other places as well instead of only at stations. With this feature you can have AI controlled trains start at a portal, coming in at a station, have a boarding or simply passing by and leaving via another portal or continue down the route. This adds a whole variety to have a much livier scenario, where trains from "outside" the route map also appear at stations. With this also makes it possible for trains to start or end at sidings.
