if TSW5 gurantees to increase your memory, then yes, otherwise no unless, as a more serious answer, the memory management of TSW gets done better, but I have no idea how it works or if it's possible. X-Boxes just have a rather low amount of RAM, that's why textures are displayed in a lower quality.

I don't think this is an issue with memory, but when loading in a route on my old laptop, I would be sat in an Electrostar with faded and blurry textures. The usual textures would return after a couple of seconds, and this only ever happened when loading a route. For some reason, on consoles, the regular textures seem to not be triggering.
TSW is The only Game since TSW 3 with blurry and flickering textures on Xbox All Racing Games or Simulations working without this issues
It was fixed but then came back in the last patch. The explanation on the forum is ram usage but seems like this can be managed better to me. The bizarre thing is the texture will be sharp then degrade when you zoom into it (after a 2 second delay) then go back to sharp when you zoom out. That seems more like a bug since if ram was the issue they’d be blurred across the board not just zoomed in. For me seems mainly an issue with ECML (see it on 801 interior/exterior and HST exterior) and Dresden Riesa (see it especially around the city of Dresden when using the 143 or Expert 101). I haven’t seen it on other routes recently. Totally game breaking IMO. They had it sorted so just undo whatever you changed in the last patch. (I’m PS5 btw so it’s not just Xbox) Optimizing this game needs a lot of work IMO. I don’t think the answer is “throw more ram at it” I think they could probably do better with the ram available. edit: on a positive note PS5 overall performance has improved lately
I'm pretty sure that's cause zooming in tells the game to load in higher detailed objects and textures ect. further away, since it'll be more visible when zoomed in. However, that has the effect of putting more load on the system, and thus, running into that memory cap. While I'm on PC with 32GB of RAM and a 2080Ti, I often observe a slight dip in the frame rate when zooming in. ECML makes sense as it can be a pretty demanding route depending on where you are, with Doncaster being really demanding from what I have seen, and I've seen others saying the same here too.

I was responding more so to what pveezy said about it getting worse when zooming in. If it's like that constantly, no zooming in or not, the game is probably struggling regardless and that's why it's doing it. As I said, ECML can be a demanding route in my experience. That said, definitely something you dont' want, when just zoomed in or all the time.
I noticed the blurry textures already in TSW4 but the funny thing is that I just saw it at Kassel Würzburg its the cab and the outside textures of the train. Now the same thing is happening on Frankfurt Fulda especially at Frankfurt. I think its to much traffic the Xbox can't handle so the textures get bad.
