Driving home for Christmas yesterday I set the cruise control on my car. Then started thinking to myself :"AFB ... AFB ... AFB"!

Have I been playing too many German trains in TSW2?! :D

Did you start acknowledging speed restrictions with PZB as well? :D

You're fine until you start expecting your car to brake on downhills by itself....

I have cruise control on my Kia Sportage but given it's a manual transmission almost never use it. To be honest, even on the motorway in the UK it is rare to hold a constant speed for too long. About the only thing it's vaguely useful for is holding 50 MPH going through roadworks.

My F250 has cruise control and also a down hill descent mode (when in 4 wheel drive mode). Of course in TX use cruise control to keep us only 10 mph over the speed limit :). And with a 38’ horse trailer with over 3000lbs of horses and traveling at 75 mph, you do have a bit of momentum you have to deal with.
