I just ran this again for the first time in ages- I had forgotten what an absolutely beautiful route it is. The combination of landscape and building assets is superb, and together with challenging driving and the outstanding BR 612, make this one of the best routes in TSW. (Also, the new minimal HUD is especially helpful with these ever-changing gradients; I don't think I had driven D-C with it before))

DTG really was running on all cylinders in late '21 to early '22, what with Cathcart, the Rush Hour routes, Dresden-Chemnitz and the 313.

Yes one of the better German routes even if not that well known internationally - I had never heard of it until the TSW version arrived. The only tedious element was when you hit those all stations RB services driving from the 766 taking nearly an hour and a half of near silent cab car driving to do the whole run.

It’s a route that could do with a remaster and a new timetable to revitalise the interest.

Funnily enough I drove Tharandter Rampe yesterday too and thought the same. A great route with amazing scenery and fantastic gameplay. Must drive the 612 again next!

I also feel similarly about Ruhr-Sieg Nord as well. Sure the route has aged but the gameplay still has so much to offer.

Been driving older pre-TSW3 routes alot lately as I‘ve felt a bit jaded with the bugs on the new stuff (PS5)

It's a good route but still has some large outstanding bugs in it which make some services unplayable. Such a spawning on top of and inside buffer stops on both playable and AI services.
This was highlighted many years ago, never fixed and never will be.

It’s really good but really really really needs the new lighting and sky box stuff with got in tsw 3 I think

that’s the same for every tsw 2 route

Tharandter Rampe truly is a route to remember, good distance and scenery.

Only thing I hated was the amount of times it will route me on the opposite track when playing Freemode.

This is a great route, one of my fave as well. I love the slalom feel of ripping down the track curves in tilt mode. Only thing it’s lacking is the new lighting although there are times I like it as is.

I likes this route very much.
Is it long, it has several curves, including passenger and freight trains.

Lately I have been playing using "Free Roam", so adding another train, and following other ones, so you get yellows and red signals.
    Then it is more interesting.
