Guys, can anyone tell me more about a phenomenon that still keeps happening on a couple of routes across the board and I haven't managed to find anything on it on the forums:

Sometimes you run straight over a switch, you do not diverge, and still for a tiny piece of track the line speed limit (that the game is controlling you to) drops to the limit that would be applicable if you diverged across the switch in question. Obviously the drop in speed limit is not signaled or announced in any way (except for some HUD element probably, but I would rather not turn that stuff on). Even though you run through this tiny piece of track in a split second, the train, consequently, has to run its full length until the speed limit returns to its previous value.

You can see what I am talking about in this video.
(it's a Rivet Games route in the video, but you can find it on DTG routes as well)

    So my questions:
    Is that intentional?
    Is that necessary?
Is that an issue and under investigation anywhere?
Is there any discussion on the forums about it?

    Thank you very much.

Most likely it's because of the way speed limits are set, which is on the track itself, so in this instance the track of the divert is set to say 30mph, and for some reason that track section is "bleeding" onto the main running tracks, so you get a few feet or so of that 30mph registering on an otherwise 100mph section of track
I doubt it's intentional, totally not "necessary", not sure on whether it's being dealt with and yes it's been discussed but if it's not ending the scenario or run it wouldn't be a "big issue" anyway

Obviously the perfect thing would be for all speed limits to be absolutely accurate in every instance, but in this case the way they've done it does allow for some "issues"
