Route Innsbruck - Kufstein

Recent past Austrian route from Innsbruck (keeping Allerheiligenhöfe, Hötting, Westbhf, Hbf, Messe, Rum etc; modernized, for 4024 S-Bahn layer) to Kufstein with the older Railjet with a reskinned 1116, new wagons AND cab car as the only new train. 4024 and freight layered in from Salzburg, austrian IC and freight layered in from Semmering. Doesn't need to go to Brenner.
Railjet could be backlayered onto Salzburg, Semmering, Augsburg, Frankfurt. If Railjet not possible, I would also be happy with 1116 IC.

I would love if they did Siemens Desiro ML, since it is the face of suburban/commuter/regional rail in Austria, especially Vienna S-Bahn, but also many others... and it also does special services aka CJX, which often run portion of its routes as intercity at 140-160 kph and some segments as S-Bahn/all-stopping service... 4024/4124 is iconic, but 4744/4746/4748 is THE face of OBB along with RailJets... until Mireo sets arrive, that is ... which sound almost the same as traction motors on Desiro, but are more energy efficient and have an "angry" face at the front lol

 

I would love to see this route but maybe extended to Roseheim to connect with that route

But to both of your comments I have to say, yes, it would be great if that would also be included, but I purposefully limited my proposal to a scope that is what I feel realistic after watching lots of Matt's streams.

 

Desiro ML shouldnt be that hard to do... yes, some have ETCS but not all... and its main standalone feature is that once you get to a certain speed, if you then move the combined controller into sth like "min", aka the least before idle/off, it locks in the current speed, whatever it is, and maintains it ... no extra buttons, just get to a speed you like, move it down and there you go, very handy
