After three attempts to install the AP Class 800 pack, according to instructions, I am still left with the original unenhanced 801 that came with the ECML London Peterboro route that came from Great British Railway Journeys Pack. What am I doing wrong ? I am not aware of any other DTG TS class 800 than the one I have.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Are you running the scenarios for the AP pack?

Thank you for your reply. No. I do not have the route. It suddenly occurs to me I may have to learn to use Locoswap and swap the DTG model for an AP liveried model. I had thought it would enhance what I had.

You absolutely need to do this, fortunately it's not that steep a learning curve and it doesn't overwrite the original scenario* so you can't balls anything up :)

*Look for the same named scenario in-game but with [LoSw] added to the end

It does enhance the default 801 but it also adds others in different liveries

It has not altered the default one. There is no sign of an 800-3 in other liveries either. It is as if nothing has installed. The installation process was surprisingly swift.

As far as I am aware the default ECML 801 still remains available.
Try going into quick drive click on the loco and type "80" in the search box
    QD-Menu.jpg
You should then get something like this
    801-1.jpg
If you click on the original Class 801 you only get these options
    801-2.jpg
If your AP installation has been successful you should also see in your menu AP-800-1.jpg
Clicking on this will give you
    AP-800-2.jpg
It could well be because you don't have the route that AP used for their scenario you are struggling to find it
I also recommend you try LocoSwap as it is very user friendly and will quickly become your best mate in TSC
    Hope that helps

OK, Thanks. All a bit of a mystery.

Right Craigie-C. that has found them. I guess it is down to Locoswap now. Thank a lot. that has moved me on. Never been stuck like this before in many years of railworks operations.

Sorry, just can't recall, but is there a DTG 800 this is based on? I looked at the AP requirements, and it just mentions the ECML London to Peterborough route, but no base 800-3, and there doesn't seem to be one included with that route:

    https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/enhancements/emu_ep/class_800-803_enhancement_pack

I had a look on the Steam Store, but no 800 listed in locos:

    https://store.steampowered.com/dlc/24010/Train_Simulator_Classic/list/43415/

ETA: ran TS, and saw an 800 there. Not sure how I got it: was it with the Peterborough route. Wonder why not in the manual then…

The 801 is part of the ECMLS package, yes:

The Class 801 was a day-one release with TS2015 and was given to all owners of TS (I got it having started with TS2014) and was included with the ECMLS route as a bundled DLC. It is independent to the regular pack which just has the National Express HST and FCC Class 365, but comes with it in the same way that the Class 378 DLC comes with the NLL. The base route released a while before TS2015 had it included.
